Evaluating Your Smile

When we plan your smile makeover, several different attributes will be considered in determining what treatments are most appropriate for you:

• Smile line:  This imaginary line follows the edges of the upper teeth which, in their ideal state, have the same curve as that of your lower lip. This point of reference determines how long teeth should be.
• Tooth proportions:  An attractive smile has dominant front teeth and a width-to-length ratio of 4:5. This proportion guides what the length and width of other teeth are so that your smile line is balanced.
• Tooth characterisation and texture:  The look and feel of your natural teeth will be matched seamlessly while considering aesthetics such as a more feminine or masculine look.
